This invention relates to a device for moving the beam of a deep-well pump drive characterized in that the beamsupport of the pivot-bearing is equipped at its longitudinal sides with guide-means for the beam. The inner sides thereof are provided with anti-friction devices which carry the beam and raise it slightly while it is being moved longitudinally. A double acting actuating device is hinged at one end to the pivot bearing and at the other end to the part of the beam where the crank drive is applied.
