PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure fixable toner causing no bleeding phenomena by using a resin obtd. by mixing and polymerizing wax having a functional group, a styrene monomer, an ethylene acrylic deriv. or an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A styrene monomer and a xylene soln. contrg. ethylene alkyl acrylate or ethylene vinyl acetate and wax having a functional group such as 12-hydroxystearic acid glyceride is stirred and polymerized. The resultant resin, as well as magnetic material particles and a coloring agent are mixed, and a toner is made by a conventional method. As the wax having a functional group, any wax such as a higher fatty acid, an alcohol and their ester, acid amides, chlorinated paraffin, polyethylene oxide, and metallic soap can be used as far as they have functional groups. The toner may furher be contained with other binder resins and wax or the like. |
