<p>PURPOSE:To prevent freezing of water in its stored part of a pump equipment by providing a heat transfer means which forms a circulating closed circuit of an evaporating heat medium between the equipment and the ground in order to transfer heat between them by use of a latent heat created by a phase change between evaporation and concentration of the heat medium. CONSTITUTION:A pump equipment 11 consists of a main pump body 13 driven by a motor 12, a water separator chamber 15 disposed at the exit side of the main pump body 13, a pressure tank 14 wherein a water from the main pump body 13 is supplied through a communication pipe 16 which opens to the water separator chamber 15, a suction pipe 17 disposed at the inlet side of the main pump body 13, and an outlet pipe 20 attached to the pressure tank 14. A heat transfer means 31 which forms a circulating closed circuit of an evaporating heat medium between the pump equipment 11 and the ground is fixed to the pump equipment 11. Using a latent heat created by a phase change between evaporation and concentration of the heat medium, a heat is transferred between the pump equipment 11 and the ground to properly keep the temperature of water in its stored part of the pump equipment 11, thereby preventing the water from freezing.</p> |
