PURPOSE:To get rid of a part where no developer like a white line is on the picture, by constituting so that width of the tip part of a developer control member consisting of a magnetic substance is made smaller than width of the magnetic pole, and the line of magnetic force is concentrated on the tip part of the control member. CONSTITUTION:To the circumference of a fixed development roller 1, a sleeve 3 is installed so as to be rotatable. Onto this sleeve 3, a magnetic toner D is supplied from a hopper 4, and is controlled to prescribed thickness uniformly by a doctor blade 5. A counter magnetic pole plate 6 consisting of a magnetic substance or a magnet is provided so as to be opposed to a magnetic pole 7-2. Width of the tip part of the counter magnetic pole plate 6 is made smaller than width of the magnetic pole 7 so that the line of magnetic force is concentrated on the tip part of the counter magnetic pole plate 6. In this way, the magnetic toner D is formed like a wall at the opposed part, is moved in the lateral direction in that case, thickness of the toner D on the sleeve 3 is equalized, and at the same time, clogging of the doctor blade part 5 is removed. |
