PURPOSE:To shorten the measuring distance in correspondence with the progressing degree of dryness, by comparing voltage between electrodes of a resistance type moisture meter with the voltage of a capacitor starting charging together with the end of measurement at the time of measuring the moisture content of grains in parallel with an operation of a drier. CONSTITUTION:A resistance type moisture meter S is provided in a grain storing room of a circulation type grain drier and the grain is pressed between fixed electrodes by advancing a movable electrode. Voltage Ed between electrodes at this time is displayed by an operation circuit M by the value expressed in terms of moisture content and also, contacts r1, r2 are closed by exciting a relay R by a data sending signal sent from a terminal (b). Hereby, a capacitor (C) a is charged and an electric charge of Ct is discharged. When the measurement is finished and the data sending signal is made to zero, the contacts r1, r2 are opened. When Ct is charged and the voltage of Ct is equalized to that of Ca, output of differential amplifier AP is made to zero and the movable electrode is advanced again by a measurement command signal generating circuit N and then, a new sample is measured. This measuring interval is shortened in accordance with the progress of drying and decrease of the voltage Ed. |
