PURPOSE:To permit the complete combustion of dry distillation gas generated from a dry distillation furnace for used tire by a method in which the dry distillation gas is sent to a combustion furnace and sufficient amounts of secondary air is supplied to the dry distillation gas by blowing it in a vortex form in the combustion furnace. CONSTITUTION:When burning used tire, used tire is charged through a port into a dry distillation furnace 1 by opening a cover 13, and then air from a primary air introducer 14 at the bottom is sent into the furnace to burn the used tire to an extent that fire is not put out for dry distillation. Then, dry distillation gas in the furnace 1 is directed from an outlet 2 into a combustion furnace 3 and preheated and burned by a burner 11 attached to a door 10. In this case, the blower 5 of an annular wind path 6 is operated and secondary air is jetted from jet tubes 8 whose inclination angle is optionally changed, whereby dry distillation gas and secondary air are mixed together while being turned spirally and then burned completely. The combustion gas of the combustion furnace 3 is directed to a hot water supplier 12 for heat recovery. |
