PURPOSE:To control a typewriter and a display device freely and to obtain a hard copy from the display device through an adapter, by using the typewriter and display device in combination as the input and output equipments of an electronic switchboard. CONSTITUTION:On receiving a switching signal from a central controller 1A through a signal receiving distributor 2A, a signal driving device 9 drives switching relays EXC and MOD according to the received signal to switch a control line and a data line between an input and output controller 5A, and a typewriter 6A and a display device 7 by operation combinations of the contacts exc and mod. When the input and output controller 5A is to control the devices 6A and 7 independently of each other, neither the switching relay EXC nor MOD is operated, but when both the devices are to be brought under the same control, both the relays are operated. When only the switching relay EXC is operated by the switching signal from the central controller 5A, information received by the display device is stored, converted and relayed to be supplied to the typewriter 6A, which it is recorded. |
