PURPOSE:To uniformalize output characteristics while miniaturizing the linear motor, and to enlarge a stroke by arranging a columnar permanent magnet and an induction magnetic pole at the center and shortening the length in the axial direction of a gap while lengthening a movable armature. CONSTITUTION:The columnar permanent magnet 6 is magnetically connected to a disk section 5 of a cup-shaped yoke 2 concentrically with the yoke 2 in the yoke 2. The columnar induction magnetic pole 7 is magnetically connected to the permanent magnet 6 in a coaxial shape, and the induction magnetic pole 7 forms the magnetic gap 8 between the magnetic pole 7 and a cylindrical section 4 of the yoke 2. The movable armature 9 passes through the gap 8 and is mounted movably in the axial direction, and has length in the axial direction longer than the length W in the axial direction of the gap 8. Consequently, magnetic flux in the gap 8 is uniformalized. Accordingly, Lorentz force functioning to the armature 9 moved through the gap 8 is equalized, and the output characteristics are uniformalized. The linear motor can be miniaturized and lightened because the columnar permanent magnet 6 and the induction electrode 7 are juxtaposed at the central section of the yoke 2. |
