MANUFACTURE OF ACOUSTIC PARTS USING WHISKER OF POLYOXYMETHYLENE

PURPOSE:To obtain acoustic parts which display the physical characteristics of whiskers of polyoxymethylene, by mixing thermoplastic fiber and the whiskers of polyoxymethylene and making paper of the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A container 1 having a fine-mesh bottom surface 1a is provided with a cover 2 at the bottom surface and charges water 3, and 50wt% each of whiskers 4 of polyoxymethylene and polyethylene synthetic pulp 5, and the whiskers 4 and pulp 5 are mixed by stirring and the cover 2 is removed to flow the water from the bottom, thus obtaining a paper-like sheet 6. This sheet 6 is molded by a heat compression molding machine 7 to be formed in the shape of a vibration diaphragm for a speaker.
