PURPOSE:To simplify a TV receiver on a color resolution improvement system by extracting the high frequency component of a luminance signal easily by a transversal filter as well as timing between the luminance signal and a color difference signal, by using a tapped delay line. CONSTITUTION:A luminance signal from a luminance signal source 1 is supplied to a delay circuit 4', delay lines 35-38 of which delays the signal by prescribed time; and signals from those delay lines 35, 36 and 38 are applied to the adder 40 of a high-frequency-component extracting circuit 3'. Signals delayed by prescribed time at the adder 40 of the circuit 3' are added together and the sum delay signal is supplied to a variable gain amplifier 5 to obtain delay time conforming with a color difference signal from a color difference signal source 2 in terms of time. In addition, the main delay time of the luminance signal is extracted from an output terminal41 and supplied to an adder 7. Then, a tapped delay circuit 4' is used to facilitate the extraction of the high frequency component of the luminance signal in addition to timing between the luminance signal and the color difference signal, thereby simplifying the constitution of a TV receiver on a color resolution improvement system. |
