<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a liq. crystal display device with high aging resistance while maintaining high productivity by forming an oriented film of a reaction product of epoxy resin with linear polyamide on a plastic substrate with a thin film of a titanium chelate compound in-between. CONSTITUTION:A thin film 2 contg. a titanium chelate compound as a principal component is formed on a plastic substrate 1 having an electrically conductive transparent film, and on the thin film 2 an orienting film 3 contg. a reaction product of epoxy resin with linear polyamide as a principal component is formed. As the substrate 1 a polyethylene terephthalate film, a polyether sulfone film or the like is used. The titanium chelate compound includes di-i-propoxy-bis(acetylacetonate) titanium and di-n-butoxy-bis(triethanolaminate)titanium.</p> |
