PURPOSE:To avoid the placing of two balls or rollers and two calked portions on an identical center line and to attain smooth rotation even if calking pressure is high, by setting the number of balls or rollers of an antifriction bearing and that of its calked portions as an even number and an odd number or as an odd number and an even number. CONSTITUTION:In an antifriction bearing integrally composed of a main body 1 and a rotary or non-rotary body 6 fitted with each other, the number of calkings 8 and that of balls 4 or the like are set as an even number and an odd number or as odd number and an even number and an outer race 3 and the rotary or non- rotary body 6 are secured on each other by calking. According to this constitution, two balls 4 and two calkings 8 are not located on an identical center line during rotation. For that reason, the rotation is not hindered even if the pressure of the calking is made high. Therefore, the antifriction bearing can be used for a part under heavy load. In addition, the bearing can cope with the dimension changes of its members due to temperature change and with the change in temperature of grease. The rotation is thus kept smooth. |
