PURPOSE:To fix pictures differing in density excellently by detecting density information on a developer image and by controlling a high frequency applied to the developer image according to the detection output. CONSTITUTION:In a thin belt-like area extending in the advance direction of a latent image, a latent image potential is detected and regarded as the mean potential of the whole latent image to control microwave energy. For the improvement of precision, the latent image potential is detected by detectors 171, 172 and 173 simultaneously in a direction crossing the advance direction of the latent image, e.g., at right angles. the outputs of those detectors 171 172 and 173 are summed up by an adding circuit 23, whose output is applied to an integral network 18, the output of which is transferred to a microcomputer to control the oscillation energy of a magnetron. |
