<p>The subject matter of the invention is a floating body which exhibits two floating carriers (1) which are connected by a lower platform (2), a main deck (3) and an intermediately arranged large impeller (5) with horizontal shaft (12). The shaft of the impeller is held by vertical plate-shaped supports (4) which subdivide the vanes of the impeller into several sectors. The rotary movement of the impeller is transferred to a machine device (19-22) arranged on the main deck (3) for generating electrical energy.
