A riveting arrangement with multi-purpose rivets (19) serves to connect a turbine rotor shell (7) to a turbine hub (12) of a torque converter (4) and at the same time as connecting means, distance piece and part of a dead-travel connection in a damping device of a bridging coupling (15). In order to protect the turbine rotor shell (7a), which is shaped by pressing, from a deformation during forming on of the rivet heads (19d), an annular shielding member (27) is inserted between the head (19d) of each rivet (19) and the turbine rotor shell (7a). In order to avoid bending of the parts of the rivet shafts (19a) forming the dead-travel connection, a flange (19e) is arranged on each rivet (19), which flange bears against a side plate (18) of the damping device in order to distribute forces exerted on the respective rivet shaft during running up against the edges (16a) of openings of the coupling hub (16). <IMAGE>
