PURPOSE:To prevent the production of a sideway moving oscillation and rolling oscillation by preventing a hanging rope from moving sideways. CONSTITUTION:An optical element 10 for horizontal compensation is hung down from a substrate 11 by means of a pair of hanging ropes 13a and 13b. A means, which prevents the hanging ropes 13a and 13b from moving sideways, is provided at projection parts 12 on the substrate 11. For example, silicon rubber adhesive agents 16 are coated on the projection parts so that they make slight contact with both sides of the hanging ropes 13a and 13b. This prevents the hanging ropes from moving in a sideway moving direction 18 with the viscocity and the elastic force of the adhesive agent exerted thereon. It is also considered as another means that a recess, whose width matches that of the hanging rope, is formed. |
