PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which provides superior images in a high temp. and high humidity environment and is suited for high frequency heat fixation by making a toner contg. polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvnylidene chloride. CONSTITUTION:A toner contg. 2-20wt% polyvinylidene fluoride or polyvinylidene chloride in a binder resin is made. The binder resin may contain a (co)polymer of styrene, ethylene, etc., natural resins, etc. other than the above-mentioned two. This toner may be either the toner of two component type developers used together with carriers or the one component type toner contg. magnetic powder. The resultant toner is superior in fixability by high frequency heating, and provides sharp images having no photograhic fogs in a high temp. and high humidity environment. |
