PURPOSE:To prevent the falling off of a spike metal fitting and damage to a tire by said metal fitting by placing both end parts in the circumferential direction of said spike metal fitting on the road face contacting face of a frame body and forming chips in the vicinity of said end parts at the time of installing said metal fitting around said frame body made of an elastic material. CONSTITUTION:A spike metal fitting 38 is caulked into an elliptical shape and installed on nearly the center part in the perpendicularly intersecting direction to the longitudinal direction of a rubber body 30 which is formed by combining a frame body having nearly a rhomboidal plan form with a frame body having nearly a triangular plan form, surrounding the body 30. In this case, both end parts in the circumferential direction of the spike metal fitting 38 are placed on the surface (face on a road face contacting side) of the body 30, and made nearly flush with the surface. And, a pair of chips 44 are fixedly provided in the vicinity of the end parts. By this structure, it is nearly eliminated that the spike metal fitting itself is brought into contact with the ground reducing the wear of the metal fitting and, even if the metal fitting is broken, preventing it from scattering, etc., since the remainder of the metal fitting is held within the body.
