PURPOSE:To achieve an early detection of abnormal in a bearing by always measuring at least one of the oil film pressure, the bearing metal temperature and sound signals at several points. CONSTITUTION:Signals from a thermosensitive element 7 and a pressure sensor 12 and sound signals are inputted into PI/O 17 separately through a preamplifier 19, a main amplifier 20 and a pulse counter 21. Specifications of a bearing is memorized at the step 51 and signals and operation data from various measuring elements are inputted into an arithmetic machine 18 at the step 52. The rotation range is discriminated at the step 53. When it is low in the speed, the operation shifts to a metal wipe diagnosis routine to repeat diagnosis at the step 54. Then, at the step 5 5, a metal wipe projection is performed and the results thereof is indicated at the step 60. In the medium and high speed ranges, the biased contact of the bearing is determined with a determination routine of the step 56. When the biased contact is found, the tilting level of the bearing is diagnosed at the step 57. Otherwise, the load of the bearing is diagnosed at the step 58. After the steps 57 and 58 are repeated, abnormality of the bearing is projected at the step 59 and alarmed at the step 60. |
