<p>Radio apparatus in which transmitting and receiving frequency are generated ''synthetically'' with the aid of a frequency divider (32) which can be digitally adjusted to various dividing ratios. The dividing ratio of this frequency divider (32) in this arrangement is digitally determined by control potentials which are applied to the divider from outputs (33, 34, 35) of a memory (62, 63) which is exclusively used for reading out. The control potentials occurring at the said outputs (33, 34, 35) in this arrangement are determined by setting elements (66, 67) acting on the address inputs (64, 65) of the memory. Some of the outputs (151...155) of the memory are not only used for controlling the transmitting and the receiving frequency but also for controlling secondary functions such as display and monitoring lamps (51, 52), selective call (40) and control tones (37, 38, 39). <IMAGE></p> |
