PURPOSE:To obtain a toner which utilizes high frequency energy efficiently, performs fixation quickly, gives superior images and has good can-stability by making a capsule toner having a core material contg. a high polymer having water absorption rates in a specific range or water-base ink. CONSTITUTION:A capsule toner consisting of a high polymer of 0.5-500% (more preferably 1.0-50%) water absorption rates in an ASTM method or water-base ink (consisting of a dye pigment and water, a rosin modified maleic acid resin or the like and alcohol such as isopropanol) as a core material, and a resin of polystyrene type or the like which has good film forming capacity, is noncohesive and is easy to be fixed by heating as a shell is made. Since the above-mentioned core material absorbs high frequency energy well, the toner giving superior images quickly for high frequency fixation is obtained. |
