The regulation device according to the invention is used for current and/or voltage regulation of an electrical heating element or, in general, for any electrical load. The regulation device has a temperature sensor and a temperature setting device, the two of which are connected to a processor. The processor emits an output signal to a load control stage which controls and/or regulates the current and/or voltage supply to the load.
