PURPOSE:To enable saving of a power, by a method wherein a power source is disconnected after a timer counts a given length of time. CONSTITUTION:If a device is left standing in a manner that a weighing operation is not conducted during a given period of time after a start switch 8 is turned ON, a timer MT is set into a time end, and a microprocessor 32 switches a high-level signal to a base of a transistor Tr21 to a low-level signal to turn OFF a Tr20 and detach a battery 11. If a weighing operation is performed during a given period of time, the timer MT is reset to restart. |
