The braking auxiliary roller (23) forming the accessory is mounted idler and carried by a yoke pivoting about a transverse axis (25) cooperating with the rear end of the frame (1). A braking member (31, 33) is articulated on the yoke and actuated by a control member (21, 37) integral with the frame, so as to act on the braking roller when the skate is in an inclined position rearwardly.
