Blends of vinyl chloride polymer and glutarimide polymer containing units of the formula …… wherein R1, R2 and R3 may be the same or different and are hydrogen or C1 to C20 unsubstituted or substituted alkyl or aryl groups which may be made clear and may have attractive heat distortion temperatures and/or impact resistance. Polymers useful for improving the impact resistance of the vinyl chloride polymer may be included. The weight ratio of vinyl chloride polymer to glutarimide polymer in the blends is 5:95 to 95:5.
