The present invention relates to a suspension and connecting device between a bogie frame and a railway axle box. The device according to the invention comprises at least one helical metal vertical suspension spring by which the bogie frame bears on the axle box, together with elastic joints each comprising at least one stud of elastomeric material gripped between the bearing faces of the said frame and of the said axle box, and is essentially characterised in that the elastic joints (51-52) and (61-62) consist of a single piece and are mounted at different heights in a manner such that they are compressed under the action of a torque applied by the vertical suspension spring. <IMAGE> |
