Driver's brake valve for indirect compressed air braking of rolling stock, having servo devices (77, 77'), operable arbitrarily in the directions "release" and "brake" and returning automatically to a middle rest position after being operated, for controlling a servo medium, having a self-closing relay valve (1), controllable in accordance with the control of the servo medium and in dependence on the activation time of the servo devices (77, 77'), for monitoring the pressure of a main air line, and having a pressure regulator (9), giving out a regulated pressure, to provide for the relay valve (1) a control pressure, whose level can be influenced by means of the servo medium, one release and braking control valve in each case (29 respectively 29' and 44, respectively 44') controllable by the servo medium being provided, the release control valve (29, respectively 29') comprising a through-passage valve (19, 20) monitoring a connection from the pressure regulator (9) to a space (32, 35) subjected to the control pressure, and the brake control valve (44, respectively 44') comprising an outlet valve (45) for the space (32, 35) guiding the control pressure, and, when the servo devices (77, 77') are in the operating position "release", the release control valve (29 respectively 29') being in its switch position with an opened through-passage valve (19, 20) and the brake control valve (44 respectively 44') being in its switch position with a closed outlet valve (45), and when the servo devices (77 respectively 77') are in the "rest position", the brake control valve (44 respectively 44') being in its switch position with a closed outlet valve (45), and when the servo devices (77 respectively 77') are in the operating position "brake", the release control valve (29 respectively 29') being in its switch position with a closed through-passage valve (19, 20) and the brake control valve (44 respectively 44') being in its switch position with an open outlet valve (45), characterised in that the release control valve (29 respectively 29') has a double valve, which comprises the through-passage valve (19, 20) inserted into the connection from the pressure regulator (9) to a pressure interspace (21) and a ventilation valve (19, 23) for the pressure interspace (21) operable in opposite fashion thereto, and in that the pressure interspace (21) is connected to the space (32, 35) guiding the control pressure for the relay valve (1) via a blocking valve (31) openable only when subjected to pressure. |
