PURPOSE:To disperse the oscillation generating energy of a flame and reduce the height of the flame by a method wherein a net member having a higher rate of opening than that of a burner plate is arranged at a downstream surface of the burner plate having several through-pass holes having a hole diameter smaller than a flame diminishing diameter. CONSTITUTION:A planar burner 20 is arranged at an interface between a mixing chamber 34 and c combustion chamber 35 of fluid heating device 30 and a thermal conducting pipe 38 is arranged at a downstream side of the planar burner. A metallic or ceramic net member 21 is contacted with a combustion chamber 35 of a burner plate 11 of the planar burner 20. The diameter of a bare wire of the net member 21 is smaller than that of a through-pass hole 12 and rides over the through-pass hole 12. A flame at the through-pass hole 12 shows a different shape and thus the oscillation energy of a flame is dispersed and then the vibration of a gas column is prevented. |
