PURPOSE:To prevent wear in power supply cell for a portable telephone set, by intermitting the receiver power supply for a portable telephone set efficiently through the use of intervals between a callout signal and the next callout signal. CONSTITUTION:A call out signal generator of a base station transmits a call out signal by changing the interval between the end of a call out signal and the beginning of the next callout signal corresponding to group being the objective of callout. In a portable telephone set, a callout number is discriminated from the 1st callout signal and the intermittent reception in synchronizing with the base station is started from the 2nd callout signal. Since a switch section 22 detects a delay time between the two callout signals with a delay time discriminating section 24 and identifies it with the group of itself, a timer 28 contacts the end of call signal. All the callout signals are received and discrimination of station itself or others is made at a callout signal discriminating section 27. If it is the station itself, an output continuously connecting the switch section 22 is outputted from the section 27, and when the call is finished, no output is present and the section 22 is disconnected. |
