PURPOSE:To contrive to enhance the unit of LDG recovery and the yield of molten steel while using a coke containing a relatively small amount of water content, by a method wherein scraps, non-water-containing coke and molten pig iron are sequentially charged into a converter, followed by blowing of oxygen. CONSTITUTION:In a non-combustion type exhaust gas recovering converter steelmaking process, scraps, non-water-containing coke (coke of a water content of 5% or below) and the molten pig iron are sequentially charged into the converter, followed by blowning of oxygen. When the blowing of oxygen is conducted after charging the coke into the converter between the charging of scraps and the charging of the molten iron, the heat of combustion of the coke is effectively utilized and the yield of molten steel is increased. In addition, since the coke containing little water is used, the increase of hydrogen in the steel is prevented.
|
