PURPOSE:To prevent the explosion of the combustible gas accumulated in the working table, by exhausting the combustible gas to the outside of the working table by lifting up of the electrode. CONSTITUTION:When applying the discharge work on a subject 22, the sludge and the combustible gas will be produced in the working table 12 but the majority of them is sucked through a suction pipe 24 and exhausted. But when continuing said work for predetermined time, the sludge accumulates below the working table 12 while the combustible gas accumulates above said table 12, thereby the electrode 14 is lifted up 1-10mm. after elapsing predetermined time while the working liquid 12 is jetted through a bypass pipe 32 into the working table 12 to exhaust the sludge and the combustible gas from the working table 12 thus to prevent the explosion of the combustible gas. After the exhaustion the electrode 14 is brought near to the subject 22 again and the solenoid valve 30 of the pipe 32 is closed to start the discharge working. |
