PURPOSE:To enable to oscillate the ternary harmonics easily by devising the polarity of electrodes located at the base, center and tip of a tuning fork arm. CONSTITUTION:An outline B is an outline diagram when an outline A is rotated counterclockwise, and an outline C is an outline when an axis M is rotated clockwise. The surface of a quartz is shown as 1, back side as 2, and side surfaces as 3-6. On the front, back 1, 2 and side surfaces 3-6 of a tuning fork type quartz oscillator, three energizing electrodes are respectively located. Electrodes shown in black mark and dotted mark illustrate the same polarity respectively. As shown in figure, the direction of electric field at the tip of tuning fork and base is the same and opposite to the direction of the electrode at the center of the tuning fork. Thus, the ternary harmonics of tuning fork type quartz oscillator can be produced easily. |
