PURPOSE:To raise the polishing capacity of a vibrating barrel polishing apparatus and to enable polishing of parts over a wide range of size from small to large including heavy parts by constituting the apparatus such that a barrel tank is inclined at a suitable angle so that parts can be thrown into the tank from one end thereof and be taken out from the other end thereof to thereby enable successive working of parts. CONSTITUTION:A long and slender box-formed barrel tank 1 having its bottom portion formed into an arcuate form is inclined at a suitable angle and is supported by springs 2. A vibrating motor 3 is fixed to an outer bottom face of the tank 1. Works and abrasives are thrown into the tank 1 through an inlet port 4 formed at a lower end of the tank 1 and are taken out through an outlet port 5 formed at the other end of the tank 1. Whirling movements in the tank 1 are provided by rotating a left weight 3a and a right weight 3b mounted at opposite ends of the vibrating motor 3 to strongly vibrate the tank 1 placed on the springs 2 on a table. |
