HIGH LUSTER DEGREE POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE REINFORCED RESIN COMPOSITION

Polyethylene terephthalate resin compositions are provided containing fillers, reinforcing agents or blends of such fillers and agents and selected alkali metal salts having anions which are oxides of Group IV of the Periodic Table, preferably carbonates and bicarbonates. Articles moulded from these compositions have high gloss surfaces and heat deflection temperatures when moulded at temperatures below 110 DEG C. even without a pre-compounding drying stage.
