PURPOSE:The titled external preparation relieving excess skin stimulation, removing an ache, lightening the rubor and inflammation of the applied part, having pleasant thermal feeling, obtained by blending a thermal irritant with an extract of Japanese toothache tree berry as an emollient. CONSTITUTION:A thermal irritant, e.g., powdered red pepper, red pepper extract, an N-acylvanilylamide (R is 5-11C alkyl), etc. is blended with an extract of Japanese toothache tree berry. Preferably the amount of the extract of Japanese toothache tree berry is 0.5-30 times as much as that of powdered red pepper or red pepper extract, and 50-300 times as much as that of N-aceylvanilylamide. |
