<p>Working up and sterilising of bath water, containing Bact. Pseudomonas pyocyanea particularly water from medicinal bath or underwater massaging baths by (a) passing the circulating bath water containing the dirt particles and microorganisms through a two-layer filter charged with bromine or hydrobromic acid with a lower layer of a mixture of filter grist and mineralised carbonaceous material and an upper layer of fine granulat active carbon (b) being charged with an ozone-containing gas in the region of the filter inlet and pre-heated as cooling water for the ozone-forming unit by the process heat discharged by this. Permits the repeated use of medicinal baths e.g. underwater jet massage baths, by removal of bacteria, particularly resistant strains of Bact Pseudomonas pyocyanea, as well as solid particles.</p> |
