<p>This invention provides methods and compositions for inhibiting the growth of aquatic weeds which comprises the use of a 3-substituted pyridinemethane, pyridinemethanol, or derivative thereof, in a body of water containing the aquatic weeds to be regulated, in quantities sufficient to inhibit the growth of the said aquatic weeds. Particularly important compositions are those comprising the compounds in the form of an invert or water-in-oil emulsion.</p> |
