PURPOSE:To emphasize a specific picture part by providing the 2nd photoconductive layer on the 1st photoconductive layer on a conductive base directly or with an intermediate layer inbetween, and by forming electrostatic latent images with the opposite polarity by charging and exposing in an opposite direction each other and performing prescribed development in color copying process. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 is formed by laminating the 2nd photoconductive layer 1C on the 1st photoconductive layer 1B on a conductive base 1A. The primary charging is performed by irradiating the photoreceptor with red light LR uniformly, and in darkness, the secondary charging is performed with the opposite polarity to the primary charging by a charger 3 for neutralization, thereby charging the photoconductive layers 1B and 1C in the opposite direction as shown by (II). In a stage (III), an original O image is projected on the photoreceptor 1 by an optical imaging system 4 for picture exposure as shown by (IV), and development is carried out with negative-polarity black toner TB to obtain a normal electrostatic latent image part LIB as shown by (V) and to visualize a negative-polarity latent image part LIR as an edge effect picture. Then, transfer (VI) and fixation (VII) are performed. |
