PURPOSE:To provide a wire containing flux for arc welding of which both the rust resistance and the transferring property are excellent, by forming and wire-drawing a body which is formed into U-shape from cupper plate steel strip and is filled with flux. CONSTITUTION:Cupper plating layer 2 is formed on surface of steel strip 1 serving as steel shell through carrying out the cupper plating onto the steel strip 1. Then said strip is formed into U-shaped. Flux 3 is filled into this formed body and, then, both of the end parts of U-shaped body are so butted as to encapsulating the flux filled into said body through the parting face. Thereby, this body is so drawn into a wire as to make the wire of prescribed diameter. It is equally well to plate cupper onto the steel strip 1 in its one side and so enclose the flux 3 that the plated surface is made the outer surface. |
