PURPOSE:To provide a DC motor without a commutator without using a semiconductor element and the like, by a method wherein a magnetic path is composed in a rotor in such a manner that main flux passes only in the axial direction and commutating function is performed between said main flux and fixed poles. CONSTITUTION:A stator iron core 1 is composed of laminated silicon steel plates or the like and stator windings 2 are contained in grooves provided inside the core 1 and a direct current is obtained in a certain direction by applying DC voltage. Silicon steel plates 5 laminated in the circumferential direction are contained in rotor slots 4 of a rotor core 3 which is composed of non-magnetic steel plates such as stainless-steel plates which are laminated after rotor slots 4 are punched so that a magnetic circuit which gives magnetic path of the main flux only in the direction of the rotor axis is composed and the magnetic path is electrically isolated from the rotor core 3. With the above method, stator current needs not be switched over and the DC motor without a commutator is obtained without using semiconductor element and the like. |
