The friction clutch has a central hub (10) with a diaphragm (11). Two guide rings (12,13') are located on either side of the diaphragm and rotate freely on it. The two guide rings are connected together with distance pieces (13). One of the guide rings (12') carries the clutch plate (14). The connection between the hub (10) and the clutch plate is made by circumferentially arranged blocks (32,32') fixed to the diaphragm and projecting on each side into housings (20) formed in each guide ring. Angular clearance exists between the blocks and the housings. Three or more blocks are replaced by coil springs (16) which serve as shock absorbers and vibration dampers.
|
