The three dimensional picture is for painting or colouring by children. Figures, animals or other objects are reproduced by accentuating the relief to make it suitable for children. The figures are shaped by heat forming them in a flat support of plastics material. The projections (4) and hollows (5) of the picture are accentuated and the intermediate zones (6) of progressive modification are reduced. Some zones are delimited by outlines or ribs (8). The surface is treated mechanically or chemically to roughen it and make it suitable for painting or colouring.
