<p>A liq. level detection device, e.g. for a washing machine, has a supple outer cover of rectangular cross-section, and extends vertically through the wash-tub. It contains two strips mounted facing each other, which are brought into contact in their lower zone due to the deformation of the outer cover, as a result of the liq. pressure in the lower part of the wash-tub. The strips may be dissimilar in content, e.g. one of electrically resistant material, such as graphite, and the other of heat conductant material, e.g. a jointed spring of copper-beryllium.</p> |
