Coaxial plug with collar - has centering and fixing device for internal conducting pin or bush

The coaxial plug consists of two halves, each of which has an outer cylindrical shell conductor casing (1). Inside this casing (1), and concentric with it, is either an internal pin or conducting bush (12). The centreing and fixing of this bush (12) is effected by a cylindrical insulating body (3) which abuts the outer casing (1). A coaxial bore (7) accepts the pin or bush (12) and fixes it across the longitudinal axis (14) of the plug. The fixing in the direction of the axis is effected by a collar (18) which lies against one end of the insulating body (3) when the pin or bush is pushed into the bore (7), forming a locking device. In the opposite direction, the pin or bush (12) is held firm by the inner conductor of the connection cable, which is soldered in. The unit ensures a simple centreing and fixing of the centre conductor before the cable is connected to it.
