<p>The rotor consists of a number of pressure members in the form of conical nozzles. They are open front and rear and are mounted on a carrier wheel revolving in a horizontal plane. The nozzle front, tapered end protrudes slightly into the rear end. Each wind pressure member (G) consists of two conical shells (12,13), mutually overlapping at the periphery. The inner shell (12) is firmly connected to the carrier wheel, while the outer shell (13) is pivotally mounted at the tapered end of the inner shell, the pivotal movement being carried out about an axis (15) coaxial with the carrier wheel. Each pressure nozzle has a limiter (20) for the pivotal angle of the outer shell. Pref. a radial rod (18) is mounted on the inner shell, passing through a slot (19) of the outer shell and carrying adjustable limiting stops.</p> |
