<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for searching, tracking, etc. by making it possible to emit the transmission waves of a radar of which the antenna beam direction is electronically controllable one or two dimensionally at frequencies larger than those regulated by the required max. measuring distance. CONSTITUTION:A register 10, gates 12, 13 and a timing generating circuit 17, as well as a register 11, gates 14, 15, and a timing generating circuit 17 mutually form the circuit which transmits waves in the direction differing in the transmission direction from that of the already transmitted waves in the period not requiring reception between the one sweep from the transmission determined by repetitive frequencies until the succeeding transmission. The register 10, the gate 13 and the circuit 17 as well as the register 11, the gate 15 and the circuit 17 respectively form the circuit which resets the reception direction in the direction of the already transmitted wave in the period requiring reception between the one sweep. Thereby, the transmission and reception are carried out at the frequencies of signal repetition larger than the value restricted by the max. observation distance of conventional radars, and the scanning speed of the radar is made higher, that is, the time required for searching, tracking, etc. is made shorter.</p> |
