<p>The device for slicing meat, cheese, vegetables, etc., has a handle (10) to which is attached a lower blade (11) extending underneath and an upper blade (14) extending above it. In the gap (17) between them in an overlap zone, level with the handle, is a cutting blade (12), with its cutting edge (13) pointing downwards. The width of the gap can be adjusted to control the thickness of the slices to be cut. At the junction between the blades and the handle is a guide system with an inner block (21) which can slide along an outer block (19). The sliding movement is controlled by rotating a wheel (29) at the rear, mounted on a threaded spindle (28). At the end remote from the handle is a block (29) sliding inside the tip (16) of the upper blade. These blocks all have sloping surfaces so that the sliding movement widens the gap.</p> |
