<p>The lift for aiding the elderly and infirm out of the bath comprises a round or square cushion made of a watertight, pressure-resistant material which in its flat state is placed on the floor of the bath. The user sits on the flat cushion while bathing and when ready to leave the bath inflates the cushion to the required height by using the water pressure from the tap which flows in through a suitable pipe and valve system. The cushion is pref. designed with several square, oval or round water columns so that a min. amount of water is required to cause the necessary inflation.</p> |
