PURPOSE:To make construction simple and operation characteristics high by projecting parts of collimator plates in a radiation detector of multichannel type as heat exchanging fins and controlling the temp. of a radiation detecting element via these fins. CONSTITUTION:An insulation characteristic mounting bed 12 of a U shape is mounted to collimator plates 11 serving also as mounting bases and a semiconductor radiation detecting element 13 is mounted to this base 12, whereby a detector unit is constituted. The plates 11 partly projected to above a housing 15, and said parts are heat exchanging fins 21. Circulation pipes 2 for cooling medium penetrate through the fins 21 and are disposed on the outer side of the housing 15. According to such construction, the elements 14 is cooled efficiently via the plates 11, and since temp. controlling is sufficiently accomplished, dynamic characteristics are improved, and the radiations down to, for example, low dose rates are detected. |
