Automatic insertion equipment for transparencies - has endless belt feed for frames with automatic opening catch

The plastic frames for the transparencies are fed onto an endless belt and align in the gravity feed slope in front of the framing position with a min. of weight. A stop forces the frames open to receive the transparencies after which a folding action closes the frames and ejects the mounted slides into an output magazine. The waiting slope is designed to take only a set number of frames to prevent jamming. The insertion action copes with a rapid feed of cut transparencies from the processing and cutting positions. Sets of mounted slides are automatically dropped into lines of pockets in storage strips.
